INTRODUCTION

CHUP JALOOS 8 RABI-UL-AWAL

Chup Jaloos Ziarat e Aza 8 Rabi-ul-Awal is taken out on 8th Rabi ul Awal at the last azadari event on annual azadari session. This procession is on the memorable event of the Caravan who reached at Karbala after freedom from Yazid who was arrest the family of Imam Hussain (May Allah peace be upon him). The tragedy of Ashura was held in Karbala on October 10, 680 AD 10th of Muharram 61 AH. The event took place after the demand of outh by Yazid from Imam Hussain (May Allah peace be upon him). Yazid was the king of Syria and want to become the Khalifa of all Muslims. But Imam Hussain (May Allah peace be upon him) refuse his demand of outh. Yazid send a huge army from Syria and Iraq for killed him. Imam Hussain (May Allah peace be upon him) was martyered in Karbala with his family members and friends total numbers of 72 by the army of Yazids. After that Yazid's army arrest the children and women and a son of Imam who was not killed because of his illness. Army sent the arrested persons and heads of martyred persons to Yazid. Bibi Zainab (May Allah peace be upon her) was the leader of arrested Caravan. She was the sister of Imam Hussain. She gave the lectures on every road of the cities comes between Karbala to Syria. Her lecture was about the reality of Karbala tragedy. When they reached in Syria, Yazid sent them to Prison. After a time when sparked a rebellion due to lectures of Bibi Zainab, Yazid left them. The Caravan come back to Karbala to buried the heads of martyred persons in Karbala. One this memorable event this procession is taken out.
